About Thunder Gold Corp
Thunder Gold Corp. (TSX.V:TGOL) is a junior exploration company focused on the discovery of high value gold deposits in Canada. The Company’s flagship asset is the 1968 ha Tower Mountain gold property located 50 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario in the Archean aged (2750-2830 Ma) Shebandowan Greenstone Belt (“SBG”). The Tower Mountain claim group is approximately 60 kilometres east of the Moss Lake property (+4.0 Moz Au averaging 1.04 g/t Au) currently being explored by Goldshore Resources (TSXV:GSHR).
The Company also holds a 100% interest in the 1700 ha PEN property, a greenfield gold exploration opportunity located in the Archean aged Beardmore-Geraldton Greenstone Belt (“BGGB”) of Ontario. The PEN property lies 5 kilometres north-northeast of the Greenstone Mine (5.5 Moz Au averaging 1.27 g/t Au) currently under construction by Equinox Gold (TSX:EQX).
In addition, the Company has optioned a number of highly prospective properties in Ontario, Newfoundland and Namibia to qualified third parties capable of focusing on advancing the properties through exploration.

Scott Jobin-Bevans, Ph.D., PMP., P.Geo, Director
Dr. Scott Jobin-Bevans has +30 years in the mineral exploration business, including fieldwork, management and administrative duties, research, report writing, presentations, and project finance. Dr. Jobin-Bevans has nearly 20 years of direct experience with public and private companies as an officer, director and technical advisor, and has taken several private companies public. He is a registered geoscientist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO), an adjunct professor in the Department of Geology,Lakehead University and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
He also has a wide range of exploration experience in most commodities, including magmatic sulfides and PGE mineralization, gold, silver, copper (porphyry) and base metals (VMS). Dr. Jobin-Bevans has an extensive industry and government network and served as president and a director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
Dr. Jobin-Bevans has an extensive industry and government network and served as President (2010-2012) and a Director (2002-2010) of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). In 2013, Scott was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his significant contribution and achievements as a volunteer in the Canadian minerals industry.
Wes C. Hanson, P.Geo, CEO & President
Wes C.Hanson P. Geo. has worked continuously in the mining and mineral exploration sector for forty years. An experienced exploration geologist, his early career included being a member of professional teams that found, developed and operated over a half dozen, high grade, underground gold discoveries. Being a member of these small, interdisciplinary team provided an opportunity to round up his professional experience, serving in the engineering, maintenance, metallurgical and mining departments both as a labourer and eventually, in supervisory roles. As a result, Mr. Hanson offers a wealth of hands-on practical experience with a strong background on mineral exploration, resource and reserve estimation and project evaluation. Later in his career, Mr. Hanson was part of teams that evaluated, designed and constructed several low grade, large tonnage open pit mines in the Yukon, Nevada, Chile and Brazil. He served in senior management positions with Kinross Gold and Western Goldfields (Newgold) where he was primarily engaged in technical supervision, project design and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Hanson served as President and CEO of Noront Resources from 2009 through 2012, supervising the initial mineral resource estimates for nickel and chromite and securing over C$75.0 million in capital funding. He is passionate about the importance of environmental and social governance at all stages of mineral exploration. Mr. Hanson is currently Vice President Exploration with Unigold, where he has supervised exploration of the Neita Concession since 2013.
Wes is a graduate of Mount Allison University (BSc. Geology) and is a practicing member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.
Elliot Strashin, Director (Chairman)
Dr. Elliot Strashin graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1980 after which he practiced in the community of Elliot Lake. It was during his tenure in Northern Ontario that he began prospecting and staking mineral claims. From 1996-2001 he served as a director of Maple Minerals Inc. In April of 1999 he joined the board of Canadian Golden Dragon Resources Ltd. as Secretary and became President and C.E.O. in January of 2000. He continued to serve as an officer of the corporation through its time as Trillium North Minerals Ltd., until June of 2014 when it became Thunder Gold Corp Resources Inc. Dr Strashin is also a member of the board for other public and private companies involved in various green technologies.
Warren Bates, P.Geo., Director
Graduated from University of Manitoba in 1985, with an Honours B. Sc. (Geology). His work experience includes 20-years 1985-2005 with Vista Gold (previously Granges Inc.) where he held successive positions from Project Geologist to Regional Manager and finally Vice President Exploration. Mr. Bates held the position as VP Exploration for Pelangio Exploration for an additional 12-years. His experience includes greenfields to mine site exploration in greenstone gold, epithermal gold and porphyry copper exploration, reserve and resource definition. Warren has worked all over Canada, the USA, Latin America and Africa, and is presently a consultant geologist
Nigel Lees, Director
Nigel Lees has over thirty years’ experience in merchant and investment banking in the U.K. and Canada. His career in Canada commenced with RBC Dominion Securities as a research analyst. During his career in Canada, he has been a partner and director of several investment dealers and has assisted in financing companies in the process of going public on the Canadian stock exchanges.
He has served as a member of the Listing Committee of the Toronto Stock Exchange as well as an officer and board member of several publicly listed junior mining companies. He was the founder and past director of TVX Gold Inc., a significant North and South American gold producer, which merged with Kinross Gold in 2003. He served as a director of Yamana Gold Inc for seventeen years until 2020, where he served as the Chairman of the compensation committee. He served as CEO of Sage Gold Inc. until 2018. Most recently Mr. Lees co-founded a private mining exploration company, New Break Resources, whose principal exploration properties are in Nunavut, Canada’s vast northern territory.
Bonnie Lyn de Bartok, Director
Bonnie Lyn de Bartok is a recognized expert on social governance, impact and risk assessment and founder and CEO of The S Factor Co., a company focused on measuring corporate social risk factors and benchmarking corporate performance against international standards, public sentiment and financial performance. She brings over 25-years of industry experience with a focus on social governance and risk assessment, socio-economic development, impact measurement and management (IMM), Social Management Systems (SMS), training programs, community programs and monitoring and evaluation of human rights, indigenous rights, land tenure, resettlement, action plans, strategy, and reporting.
Ms. de Bartok brings decades of experience in the mining sector, advising mineral exploration, development and mining companies globally as well as providing social risk / opportunity analysis to numerous NGOs, IOs, governments and investors. Her company, The S Factor Co., is a data and analytics company providing proprietary social performance indexing of publicly listed companies, enabling global investors to gauge the social risks, opportunities and performance of companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
Bonnie Lyn is a graduate of Oxford University’s Said Executive Program in Impact Finance Innovations, Saint Mary’s University with a BA (Hons.) in International Development Studies, (Social and Economic) and International Politics as well as the University of Cape Breton with B.Comm. in Finance and Marketing

David Speck, Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary
David Speck in the role of CFO. David is an entrepreneur and a specialist in capital markets. He graduated with a degree in political science with a focus on economics and finance from the University of Guelph in 1982. David comes with 35+ years’ experience in the financial markets inclusive of retail sales, retail sales management, mutual fund corporate development/sales, financial forecasting/modeling, creation and the implementation of marketing and business plans, start-ups and associated financings, and marketing, of same. Amongst his achievements and awards, he has achieved the President’s and Chairman’s Club level as a retail broker, held senior management roles with two retail brokerages and raised several hundred million dollars in sales. He has worked with mining and medical imaging start-ups as he entered a more entrepreneurial phase of his career. David completed the Chartered Financial Analyst degree in 1994. He is a director of SEGO Resources Inc. and a Director of Rainy Mountain Royalty.
